Services - Glass Bead Peening

Glass Bead peening is carried out the same way as Shot Peening but is used on more delicate components where a lighter surface compression is required. Glass Bead is used for this due to it being lighter with less impact ability than Steel Shot.

When carrying out this process the Glass Bead needs to be checked and sieved at regular intervals to remove any fine and angular particles to maintain the correct measurements required.
