Services - Shot Blasting

Surface cleaning of a wide variety of components. Garden gates, automotive parts, garden furniture, motorcycle frames, radiators and much more. A 15ft x 7ft x 7ft room is available for this process.

Shot blasting abrasives are used to clean and prepare substrates prior to painting/coating or repair.

The most effective media for carrying out this process is Steel Grit, which will quickly strip many types of surface contaminants from steel and other foundry metals.

Steel grit is softer than aluminium oxide, therefore not breaking down as easily. The angular nature of steel grit produces an etched surface on metal, (which can be measured), for superior adhesion of paint, epoxy, enamel, rubber and other coatings.
